【點(diǎn)評(píng)】

D選項(xiàng)雖然也使用了V-ing結(jié)構(gòu)，但是改變了句意。原句的意思是“省略一些不必要的詞”，可D的意思是“不必要省略一些詞”，和原句的意思相反，所以錯(cuò)誤。

就是說(shuō)，如果one前面被the only修飾的話，who是指代one的，而不是students。

【分析】

D中的that指代speeds，那么按D的解釋就是speeds can exceed two hundred miles per hour，從中文角度講沒有問題，但在英文中，這樣的表達(dá)很不地道，只能說(shuō)a car can exceed two hundred miles per hour。另外，D的表達(dá)也很唆。
