如果你想把閱讀中碰到的一些新詞匯或有意義的句子記下來(lái)，如He has firmly established himself as a world-famous psychologist ．（他已經(jīng)牢牢地確立了自己作為一名世界知名的心理學(xué)家的地位。）為了更好地掌握該句中的短語(yǔ)establish oneself as．．．（使自己成為……），就可以舉一些相似的例子，如：①She has firmly established herself as a famous writer．②She has firmly established herself as the richest lady in this country．等等。又如be kept busy with這個(gè)常用短語(yǔ)，可以通過(guò)這樣一些句子來(lái)記。如：①M(fèi)ary is kept quite busy with the large restaurant she is managing．②She has been kept busy with all her business relations．另外，如果你想記住某些常用短語(yǔ)的用法，就可以將它們記在一張紙上，利用零星時(shí)間來(lái)記。如由up一詞構(gòu)成的短語(yǔ)： look up a word（查詞典）；call sb．up（打電話）； pick up sth．（收起來(lái)放一邊）；put up with sb．（容忍）；catch up with sb．（趕上）等等。

大浪淘沙法：如果你的目標(biāo)是一天記住100個(gè)單詞，那么所需背誦的單詞數(shù)量最好要達(dá)到500個(gè)。
