A：I have trouble relating to Carol. 我跟卡羅溝通很難。

B：Maybe it’s because she’s 30 years older than you.

或許這是她比你年長三十歲。

Notice是“通知，注意”的意思，on a moment’s notice指“到了最后一刻，才臨時來的通知”。通常醫(yī)生是最容易被臨時通知出診的行業(yè)了。
