和普通文法一樣，SAT絕對(duì)不能接受在同一個(gè)句子中，同樣的代詞指代不同的對(duì)象。另外，SAT也不能接受代詞的“暗示指代”，即在一個(gè)句子中，代詞所指代的對(duì)象并沒有出現(xiàn)，但該代詞的含義是非常明確的。

分析：“n times as… as”表示第二個(gè)as前是后的n倍。根據(jù)這一用法，band members是orchestra members的3倍，orchestra members是jazz choir members的2倍，所以band members是jazz choir members的6倍。
