【記】在拉丁文中veto的意思是“我不準(zhǔn)”（I forbid），在英語里則表示“否決”或“否決權(quán)”

【搭】stretch out 開始大跳步走；伸手

強(qiáng)調(diào)賓語： It was the experiment that my father did in the lab yesterday evening.

【例】There are hordes of traders at the jumble sale today. 今天的舊貨義賣會上有很多交易者。

4）如“這樣做既有積極的一面也有消極的一面。”可以這樣表達(dá)：

It will have both negative and positive effects.

（注：句中negative與positive具有正反對比的關(guān)系和效果。）
