　　情態(tài)動詞數(shù)量不多,但用途廣泛,主要有下列:

　　can (could), may (might), must, need, ought to, dare (dared), shall (should), will (would) .

比如，上面這個題目，問的是你認為人們是否從失敗中獲得收益？在第一段，這個問題是必須回答的，你的回答可以視作是你這篇作文的中心論點。

這顯然不是一個完美的平行結(jié)構(gòu)，因為not only后面接的是一個形容詞，而but also后面接的是一個名詞性結(jié)構(gòu)，詞性不同的成分不能構(gòu)成一個完美平行。應該說She is not only pretty but also intelligent。
