對(duì)于中學(xué)生而言,提高理解能力非常重要。如何盡快提高理解能力的確不容易,中學(xué)生需要負(fù)出艱辛的勞動(dòng)掌握一些技能技巧才能如愿以償?shù)囟唐趦?nèi)提高理解能力。下面筆者根椐兩年多的中學(xué)經(jīng)驗(yàn)來(lái)談?wù)勌岣咧袑W(xué)生閱讀理解能力的一些方法。
首先,快速閱讀掌握大意。不管平時(shí)閱讀還是考試做閱讀題,學(xué)生們應(yīng)帶著問(wèn)題快速瀏覽從中尋找答案。把握關(guān)鍵詞是必要的。通過(guò)關(guān)鍵詞來(lái)推理文章的思路和作者的態(tài)度。如果閱讀文章時(shí),閱讀速度太慢,就會(huì)出現(xiàn)看了下句忘了上句,對(duì)文章沒(méi)有整體把握,結(jié)果只見(jiàn)樹(shù)木不見(jiàn)森林。另外,閱讀時(shí),特別是第一次閱讀可以跳讀。千萬(wàn)不要一字一句地讀。閱讀時(shí),可以以詞組或短語(yǔ)為單位。當(dāng)然,僅讀一遍難以全部領(lǐng)會(huì)文章的意思。必要時(shí),可以多讀幾遍。第一次,要快讀;第二次以后,可以仔細(xì)地讀。
第二,不要一遇到生詞就查詞典,要學(xué)會(huì)猜詞。如果一遇到生詞就查詞典,這樣會(huì)影響閱讀速度。另一方面,一個(gè)單詞往往會(huì)有許多意思,有時(shí)不聯(lián)系文章特定的情景,很難確定生詞的確切含義。學(xué)生們可以根據(jù)上下文和構(gòu)詞法等規(guī)則去大膽地猜這個(gè)生詞在文中可能是什么意思。如能猜中詞意,那么學(xué)生會(huì)對(duì)閱讀英文文章興趣倍增,會(huì)有成就感,這樣對(duì)提高英語(yǔ)水平非常有益。
第三,為了更好地理解文章需要找出主題句。主題句一般位于句首,有時(shí)會(huì)出現(xiàn)在句中或句末。把握好主題句能更好地理解全文。主題句是每段的關(guān)鍵內(nèi)容,如能正確把握,對(duì)中學(xué)生提高理解能力有著舉足起輕重的作用。
第四,多讀一些淺顯易懂的英文文章,多多益善。剛開(kāi)始。中學(xué)生可以嘗試著讀一些英文小故事。隨著時(shí)間的推移,逐漸進(jìn)入狀態(tài)有了感覺(jué)。這時(shí)可以讀一些有生詞但可以通過(guò)上下文能推理出詞意的原著簡(jiǎn)寫(xiě)本。這樣通過(guò)擴(kuò)大閱讀量,學(xué)生們可以盡快地提高閱讀理解能力,同時(shí)還可以擴(kuò)大詞匯量,一舉兩得。
第五,建議學(xué)生們背課文精彩段落。學(xué)生們上早自習(xí)時(shí)可以自己選擇感興趣的幾段反復(fù)朗讀直至可以復(fù)述或背下來(lái)。如能長(zhǎng)期堅(jiān)持,必定會(huì)有大的收獲。經(jīng)常背課文可以增強(qiáng)英文語(yǔ)感。有了強(qiáng)烈的語(yǔ)感,閱讀理解能力會(huì)不知不覺(jué)地慢慢提高。
總之,采用多種方法擴(kuò)大閱讀量來(lái)逐步提高閱讀能力。只要重視技能技巧持之以恒,一定能如愿以償?shù)靥岣哂⒄Z(yǔ)水平。
